Signal Control and Prioritization (SCP) Working Group

The Signal Control and Prioritization (SCP) Working Group (SCP WG) is responsible for development and maintenance of those NTCIP standards that are specifically related to signal control and prioritization transportation sensor systems, specifically NTCIP 1211 (a data dictionary standard).

 

John Thai, City of Anaheim, and Larry Head, University of Arizona, are the co-chairs of the SCP WG.

NTCIP 1211 v02, Object Definitions for Signal Control and Prioritization (SCP)

NTCIP 1209 v02 defines the management information and the operations related to Signal Control and Prioritization (SCP). NTCIP 1211 v02 covers the management of preferential treatment (priority) of different classes of vehicles (such as transit, emergency service, other priority vehicles, which might include commercial fleet vehicles, etc.) and the implementation of special coordination operation within a Traffic Signal Controller. that is unique to an SCP. Published September 2014. Supercedes NTCIP 1211 v01.

 

NTCIP 1211 v02A-SE03 TPG, Object Definitions for Transportation Sensor Systems (TSS) (TPG-Enabled)

NTCIP 1211 v02A-SE.03 is the TPG-enabled version of NTCIP 1211 v02. It is designed for TPG (Test Procedure Generator) software users. Published August 2017.
